The role of galvanizing is to prevent steel rust, and steel is easily corroded in natural atmosphere. Zinc is not easy to change in dry air, and in a humid environment, a dense carbonate protective film is formed on the surface, which can effectively protect steel.
Galvanized processes and methods are generally three types: mechanical galvanized, hot -dip galvanized and cold -dip galvanized:
1. Mechanical galvanized, mechanical galvanized technology is a more traditional galvanized technology. The zinc powder is attached to the plating through the method of mechanical collision and chemical agent adsorption to form a coating.
2. Hot -dip galvanized, also known as hot immersion galvanized, first pickle the plating parts to remove the oxidation layer on the surface of the plated parts, and provide conditions for the solid attachment of the plating layer. Remove the surface impurities of the plating part, and then put the zinc solution with a hot -soor groove. The zinc liquid is evenly attached to the plating by soaking the zinc liquid to form a coating.
3. Cold galvanized, also known as electroplating. The plating parts have been removed from surface oil dust, pickling, cleaning and removing plating surface impurities. Put it in a zinc salt solution. The negative electrode of the electrolytic device, the zinc plate connected to the electrolytic equipment positive electrode, connect the power supply, and use the electrolytic reaction to attach the zinc layer on the plating part.
With the continuous maturity of new processes, the method of mechanical plating has been eliminated. The commonly used process is two ways: hot galvanized and cold -dip galvanized.
